She admitted to having tried many fad diets until she found the right weight loss plan that works for her: eating 5 sensible meals a day for 6 days and make one day as her cheat day and to indulge in physical workout. She believes that her slimming secrets are no secret at all. She puts moderation in eating her food.</p>
<p>She loves and enjoys <span id="more-95"></span>her food and works out a lot. Nevertheless, in the end of the week, she goes out, eats at a fabulous restaurant, and forgets about her diet plan for a day. She seals her cheat day with a glass of great wine. And just like any individual, she too has her share of tough times in keeping in shape. However, she firmly says no to all types of pills and magic drink.</p>
<p>Her reason is simple. She wants to promote a healthy body image to young fans by being a good role model to young girls. She wants to send a message to young adults and teens that they do not have to be skinny to be gorgeous. For her, muscles are beautiful; and so are strong bodies, working out and eating healthy foods.</p>
<p>To her fans and followers, she shares her slimming secrets: to eat three sensible meals and three healthy snacks a day for six weeks. The six meals are designed to fire up the metabolism to burn off more calories while feeling full all throughout the day. On the seventh day (which you can choose which day) is a reward day. The following are her menu sample.</p>
<p><strong>1. Breakfast </strong>- This meal starts up the day and fuels the metabolism. Jessica’s selections include:</p>
<p>a. Oatmeal prepared with skim milk and diced apple and pinch of cinnamon and a glass of orange juice.</p>
<p>b. Slice of whole-wheat toast topped with one small size of canned sardines in tomato sauce and a glass of an apple juice.</p>
<p>c. Omelet prepared with three egg whites filled with tomatoes and a glass of grapefruit juice.</p>
<p><strong>2. Mid-morning snack</strong> &#8211; Jessica’s choices include a handful or unsalted almond or a piece of banana fruit.</p>
<p><strong>3. Lunch meal</strong> &#8211; Consists of:</p>
<p>a. Four ounces of lean chicken with a handful of whole-wheat pasta and thoroughly chopped vegetable combination. One-half of a baked potato with tuna and corn to be served with green vegetable salad that used lemon and olive oil dressing.</p>
<p>b. Mixed salad of beans derived from 14 ounce-can of mixed beans, celery, sliced peppers, grated carrots dressed with lemon and olive oil.</p>
<p><strong>4.  Mid-afternoon snack </strong>- Biel chooses a tablespoon combination of seeds such as sesame, pumpkin, or sunflower and a piece of any fruit to serve the afternoon snack.</p>
<p><strong>5. Dinner</strong> &#8211; Jessica’s choices are:</p>
<p>a. Small-sized grilled lean pork steak sided with roasted vegetables, fruit salad with 3 teaspoons of low-fat cream, 4 ounces of diced lean meat or Quorn sided with stir-fried vegetables and whole-wheat noodles or brown rice.</p>
<p><strong>6. Evening snack</strong> &#8211; two slices of whole-grain crisp breads or oatcakes with hummus and a glass of any fruit juice.</p>
<p>Apart from this eating style, Biel recommends performing regular exercise three times a week for half an hour per session. Jessica’s personal trainer reveals that Biel works out 6 days a week alternating with body and cardio workout. For three days, she focuses on muscle development and toning with lunges, crunches, squats, core work, and lightweight with high reps to work on shoulders, triceps, and biceps. The other three days concentrate on cardio exercise.</p>
