In cosmetic products are often offered cleaning or refreshment of cucumber material. Usually these products are for women with oily skin or acne, because the cucumbers can relieve inflamed skin or redness due to sunburn. Cucumbers contain a substance that can kill the bacteria causing acne (a skin antiseptic) and tighten the skin. Cucumber extract also helps restore skin pH to be the same as normal skin pH.
Freshener or toner is made from cucumbers can actually make your own. Here is the recipe of cucumber toner is quoted from the book Ecobeauty: Scrubs, Rubs, Masks, and Bath booms for You and Your Friends.
Prepare the ingredients:
* 1 / 2 green cucumber slices with the waste of skin, minced, chopped.
* 3 tsp hortensi leaves (flower bowl).
* 2 teaspoons distilled water already.
Mix all ingredients, then enter in a blender or juicer, and wait until smooth. Filter using fine cloth to separate the grounds from the water.
